Contour and Highlighting 101 | Makeup Tutorial

I have held off on making this tutorial because everyone and their mom had been uploading how they contour and highlight. Since my makeup taste is more of a natural look, I didn't think people would want to see it. But I've been working with clients and noticed that they have been asking for the Kim K look but toned down a few notches. Because her contour is so sharp it could cut you, haha! So today I'm going to share my favorite way that I contour and highlight for a softer more everyday look!

When it comes to products for this makeup style I tend to work with cream products because they can easily meld together for a seamless finish. You can do the same things with powder products, I just feel that sometimes it can be less forgiving and can end up splotchy or applied a bit heavy handed. I love using the LA Girl HD Pro Conceal Pens ($5) or the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation sticks ($9). They both are easy to apply to your face and can keep a sharp application so when you go to blend it out it stays right where you want it. I also love that both brands come in a variety of shades, so you can find the perfect match for your skin tone. I wanted to mention two brands so you have two options depending on where you live and its availability.

Click on the video to watch how I apply my contour and highlight for a gorgeous natural finish. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial!
