How to Prevent Color Fade ❤ MY NEW PASTEL HAIR!

Whether you get your hair done at a salon or color it yourself at home, hair color can fade so fast and become boring and dull. Color is color and it will always fade, but there are tips you can learn on how to prevent the fade and make your color last longer!

This video is broken up into two parts. The first is my tips on how to prevent fading to keep your hair vibrant and rich. Let's be honest, we spend a lot of money on our hair! We need to realize that protecting our hair and color is like protecting an investment, let's do the best possible things for that.
The second is all about my new pastel hair color. Yes it is real, I've turned mermaid. Haha! I'll tell you about the steps in how we did my lavender/blue pastel ombre and the products that were used. Take note that I DID get this done at my salon by a professional and used all professional products. If you use at home color and do it yourself you may not get the same shade or your desired results. I recommend going to a salon that knows how to work with artificial colors like this.

Flawless Foundation Routine

There are some occasions that you want your skin to look flawless. Let's pretend that we have perfect skin and look like models. Actually, I'll just take the perfect skin part ;) thank you!

This tutorial is how I use mostly drugstore products to create the perfect flawless skin that is fresh and youthful! I don't agree with cake face or heavy foundation that feels like a mask. This whipped foundation is better then any high end product that I've tried and is my #1 must have makeup product! See how I use this and other products to complete my skin for magazine cover perfection!
List of products used here.
I hope you enjoy!

How to FAKE a Salon Blowout

Every time we finish blow-drying a clients hair in the salon they always say how they can never blow dry their hair like we can. Blow drying your own hair can be very intimidating and hard. Trust me I struggled to do it myself until I was taught to blow-dry the correct way. Yes having another set of hands can do the trick, but we don't have that.

In this tutorial I will show you how to utilize the round brushes that us professionals use in the salon to give smooth volume that looks like you just walked out of getting your hair done. The first part of smoothing your hair is in my other tutorial on How to get Your Hair Straight. Then I will use a round brush technique in this tutorial to get the volume and bend for a gorgeous flowing style. All the tools and products I used are listed here.
I hope you enjoy!

Whitening Lightning Lighted Lipgloss ✤ Review

When I first saw these lip glosses I was drawn like a moth to a flame. Whitening Lightning Makes these unlike others because they feature two unique things, a mirror and LED light. That's right! You don't need to reach for your pocket mirror or open your car visor for the light, it's all built in. If that's not enough the creamy formula is one of the most luxurious gloss textures that I've used. The consistency is a super creamy smooth feel, and has a very impressive pigmentation. Unlike other glosses, the opaque shades deliver like a liquid lipstick. Check out the shades I got below.

Salmon- This gloss is a gorgeous spring creamy peach shade that has warm orange undertones. This is an opaque shade that transfers to a even lip color.
Fiji- This Barbie doll shade is a vivid pink that can make any girl want to pop bubble gum and twirl their hair. The gloss is amazingly opaque and as bright as Nikki Minaj.
Nude- This gloss is the most perfect nude shade in my entire collection of nudes. The color is so opaque and flattering for every skin tone. I can tell this is already a staple for my collection!
Pink Frosting- This shade is the perfect combination of shimmery sparkles and baby pink. The gloss is transparent so you can wear by its self or layer over other glosses.

If you haven't tried these glosses before I highly recommend these colors that I got. They retail for $38 and you can use the code ALEXSISDEAL to get 70% offsite wide, making them only $12! Pick up a few new glosses for spring and let me know what one you like best!

Bold Brow Routine

Following my, Natural Brow Routine, is this bold brow look for more intensely defined brows. I like to change up my brows depending on what makeup look I'm going for. When I want to be a bit more glamorous and do a full face look with a smokey eye, bold brows shape my face perfectly.

In this tutorial I use the new Anastasia Beverly Hill's DipBrow Pomade. This product is hands down one of my favorites for perfecting the crisp brow look. All my products used will be listed on my Luvocracy site here. I hope you enjoy!

No Makeup ♡ Makeup Look

Wearing makeup doesn't need to be a complicated routine.
Most women like to do a more natural look that emphasizes their features and polishes your face for a natural glam style.

I posted a few pictures wearing this "No Makeup" look, and had a ton of you ask for me to do a tutorial on it. This is a simple and a great way to polish off your features for a fresh youthful look. Honestly, this is how I wear my makeup most of the time. If I'm not at the salon I like to embrace the natural look because let's face it, I don't have time for that everyday!

My products are half high-end and half drugstore, so that also makes this polished face more affordable for you girls who don't own a bucket full of makeup or are new to makeup! Please note that I used a tinted moisturizer instead of a foundation so if you want more coverage use a foundation. Product list can be found HERE.
I hope you enjoy!

Whitening Lightning Dial A Smile Kit ✤ Review

If you're into youtube beauty channels you've probably already seen/heard about Whitening Lightning products. Many gurus rave about their teeth whitening kits, brow palette, and lip gloss. I wanted to discover the products myself and see if they live up to the hype, or are more of an excitement rather then a promising product.

The Dial A Smile Kit is their professional home whitening system that comes with 3 professional treatments and boasts a 4-7 shade whiter smile in 20 minutes. The kit includes a paper shade dial, a little tub, a handheld mini LED light, the gel syringe, 3 teeth wipes, an applicator brush, 3 vitamin E q-tip swabs, and the Super Booster Whitening Pen. Everything you need to whiten your teeth they put in your kit.

So I matched my shade at around a level 8/9. Did the step by step process and waited 20 minutes for my  teeth to whiten. When I rinsed it off the gel I was sadly disappointed because my teeth only whitened to a level 6/7. Not a 4-7 shade difference, and after my third process I only experienced a level 6. On a positive note I didn't experience any discomfit or sensitivity on my teeth. When I use whitening Strips they tend to make my teeth hurt really bad.  To sum it up I went from a level 8/9 to a level 6, whitening only two levels lighter.

Honestly I saw a lighter shade, but for the price of the product and results I can't say that I'm going to do this again. Other products from the drugstore have given me better results. Now this may work better for other people because after all everyones teeth are different,  but for my pearls they didn't turn them as white as I'd like. If you've tried this before and had different results let me know!!!

Lace Braid Pony Tail

Some times you need a hairstyle that can be done quickly to get your out of your house but still look like you worked for a long time. This tutorial is a lace braid into a pony tail, and for experienced braiders this can be done in just a few minutes. A Lace Braid is basically a french braid but only picks up hair to one selected side. I hope you enjoy this quick tutorial!

Natural Brow Routine

Natural eyebrows can be sparse and almost nonexistent. As you can tell from the photo above, I have a great shaped brow but they aren't what I would call a perfect brow! I wanted to show you guys how to achieve this look for your everyday routine.

The easiest product that I recommend to work with would be a brow powder or shadow. There are many brands that have easy to use duos like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit, MUA, and Whitening Lightning. Today I'm going to use my personal favorite palette, the Brow Bar To Go, from Whitening Lighting (use code: ALEXSISDEAL to get 70% off site wide).

This brow palette is perfect for most brows and comes with two shades and a wax. I use the lighter shade mostly, then work into the darker shade on the end of my brows. The palette is easy to use because it has everything I need to shade in my brows and comes with a small mirror which is great for traveling and touchups. See how I use it on my tutorial.  I hope you enjoy!

✹Kelly Osbourne Spiked Updo & DIY Spike Clips✹

I was going across my Instagram feed the other day and found a post on Kelly Osbourne's page of a gorgeous updo that had spikes in it. I screen shot a few pictures she posted so that I could replicate the look for you guys. This is a easy french braid, like we did as kids, with a few bad-girl accessories! I also incorporated my Luxury For Princess extensions which is great if your hair isn't long enough, or you want you bun to look larger. I used a 1 clip and two clip weft.
At the end of this video I also include a tutorial on how to make the spike clips that sit on the side of the head, and the single stud clips that were in the back. I bought the spikes and clips from Michael's in the Jewelry department, and the pin curl clips are from Sally's Beauty Supply.
I hope you enjoy the tutorial, this has to be one of my favorite hair styles that I have recreated for you girls! Now if only I had pastel hair ;)

Spring ✿ Nail Designs

Spring is almost here! I shared these cute nail designs on my Instagram, but wanted to post them here for those of you who don't have a Instagram. Bright nails get me in the mood for crisp spring days, and I like to start out that trend on my nails.
The first manicure features China Glaze Purple Panic which is one of my favorite neon colors because this baby packs a colorful punch! Then I accented it with my favorite pink glitter polish by OPI called Teenage Dream which came from their Katy Perry collection. The stripe accent is done with a Sally Hansen white, on the other hand I did polkadots!
The second and current manicure is China Glaze Flip Flip Fantasy. Such a gorgeous neon tangerine color, makes you want to put your bathing suit on and lay out in the summer sun! The silver glitter accent polish is by OPI...get ready for the name...Crown Me Already?! Ha, I love it! Again, the white is a Sally Hansen white polish.
What polish colors will you be breaking out for spring???
