I'm going to start off by saying that this is how I do my hair and it works really well for my texture and length. Other ways are effective as well so please don't think this is the only way. I use the tools I have and style my hair how I like :)
This is how to cut out your a flat iron for a great straight look, and a quick way to blow out long hair. Because I use certain products I wanted to go into more detail here so you can achieve the best results. My products as shown are
- Its a 10 Leave in Conditioner, sprayed all over my hair for moisture and heat protection
- Paul Mitchell Sculpting foam, placed at my roots for volume in my crown
- Paul Mitchell Super Skinny, for my midshaft (about 4 inches from the top of my head) to my ends to makes my hair sleek and shiny
- and Paul Mitchell Worked Up Hairspray, to add a bit of hold and volume
The two brushes featured in my blow-dry is a CHI Large Ceramic round brush in the Jumbo size, and a jumbo size Boar Bristle round brush. Then I use some velcro rollers you can purchase at any beauty supply store like Sallys or Ulta. Yes, I love using these two brushes at the salon when I do gorgeous volumized blow outs! Your brushes can make a big difference in how your hair turns out. Invest in some good brushes to help control frizz and simplify styling.
Watch the rest of my upload to see how I use these tools to create my look!
HAVE A WONDERFUL MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!
