Benefit -They're Real❤ Mascara Review

As makeup lovers, we know about the Benefit Cosmetics brand. They have the cutest packaging with a vintage pin-up girl style.  It's not just their cute packaging that makes their brand so pupular, many of their products are beauty guru go-to favorites like the Hula Bronzing powder and the POREfessional.

As a points perk at Sephora, I got a small travel size of They're Real mascara and tried it out for a while. My favorite mascara is one that serperates my lashes to build them up for long-lasting volume and won't smudge under my eyes. Which got me excited when I read what the mascara claims to do:
94% saw dramatic length & volume*
90% saw base-to-tip curl*
94% saw visible lift*
100% saw long-wearing results*

My favorite part of this product is the applicator it's self!!! I love that it is a plastic brush that has little spikes all over the body. Because it has a smaller less crowded brush head, I feel like it can get into my lash line and pull my lashes up, and it separates them rather then just apply. The end has a ball like tip very similar to the Givinchey mascara, great for getting in tight corners or coating your lower lashes.

For a girl who likes natural separated lashes that curl well and last long, this is a heaven send. Since I've been wearing it I've noticed that under extreme heat and around 15 hours of wear time, this mascara can stand the test of time…and heat!

Note that the formula it's self is a wet-smooth formula, and this mascara is a LONG-WEARING mascara, which mean's it can need a good makeup remover to take it off. If you like a dryer formula, then this one isn't for you. Also if you prefer a more dramatically coated lash, you probably wouldn't like this formula because you need a few coats to really make it thick.

My overall opinion is that this mascara is a great find and one I know I'll buy again. It's not a magic "fake lash maker," but I don't expect that from any mascara…only fake lashes can look as thick as they do.
