Introducing: OOTD

Girls with blogging beauty pages frequently post a OOTD, meaning Outfit Of the Day. I love watching unique styles and how people piece together garments to make a look. So I would love to share with you my unique style and hopefully inspire your wardrobe :)
OOTD! I am wearing a lace see through tank with a black tank under it and a black and white striped cotton sweater, black fleece leggings with a black high waist skirt, red brown leather boots and a red brown waist belt. To tie in the red brown I wore neutral and red brown colored gem earrings. Not matching every piece is fun!

Foundation Application Tools- BIG DIFFERENCE!

Want to know what your skin looks like when you put your foundation on?

In this tutorial I will demonstrate what tools do with your foundation. I use a regular lemon which has similar pore like our skin, and really show us how big of a difference the tools we use effects the results of our makeup! I'm a 100% user of foundation blending brushes like the last example in my tutorial. You can find these brushes at any Sephora, Ulta, Makeup Store...
Check out this tutorial for a awesome demonstration!

Gym Hair- Pony Tail Braid

Here is a style that will keep you going. With all your hair up and out of your way, you wont have to worry about it while you work out! This is a great hair style for runners or other forms of vigorous activity because your hair won't be swooshing around, that always get's on my nerves...lol!
Hope you enjoy!

Gym Hair- French Fishtale Bun

I guess you can say I'm in love with fishtale braids for gym hair! This is a french fishtale that goes into a low and messy bun. This is easier then french or dutch braiding and is a cute way to give your hair more style but with an ease that doesn't make it look like your on the way to prom!

3 Strand Side Braid

Here is a great way to keep all your hair in a 3 strand braid. I dutch braid the back of it to keep all the little hair from the other side of your head in the braid. Enjoy!

Recent Work

Above is Hannah's gorgeous blonde hair that we highlight then curled with a 1'' barrel curling iron! Isn't her hair beautiful!

OH the power of extensions! Mrs. Teresa has a fine texture of hair that doesn't like volume or body...no fear! We created her stunning locks with Cinderella hair extensions that give her exactly that and a bit more length!

Here one of my amazing guests, Jen, she came to me and said she wanted to go really short. As you can tell the in first picture she had an angled bob (which had grown out significantly) and she said CHOP IT ALL OFF! So with her inspiration of pixi cuts and a few pictures she brought to me, we came up with this fun and edgy hair cut that suits her so well!

Lastly is this adorable 11 year old Gracie! With a new A-Symetric hair cut, gorgeous curls, and natural makeup we took her from 11 to 16!

Pony Tail with Braided Rows for Working Out!

Here is my first upload to my Exercise Series!

Anniversary Photo Shoot!

My husband Shane and I got married two years ago, October 29th! This is a few of my favorite pictures from our anniversary shoot! I wore three different outfits, and my husband had two outfits. I wanted to share these with you because it's obviously a HUGE part of my life as well as a few tip pictures on position and wardrobe from yours truly! Choosing your poses are very important, but not as important as what you choose to wear and how your styled.

Alexsis- Note that my makeup is very natural, people want to see you, not a totally outdone person. My first outfit was the white lace detailed dress, solid black tights, and black heeled boots. Second was a cream colored sweater, with white crop pants, and striped wedges. Third was a champagne lace detailed dress accented by a brown belt, warm cowboy boots, and bangle bracelets.

Shane- As well as myself, my husband is styled like he usually wears his hair with a fo-hawk hair style and a cleaned up facial hair look. His first outfit corresponds with my dressy attire. Dressed in a black v-t shirt, and black gray pin striped slacks, with black dress shoes. Shane's second outfit was a casual white v-t shirt, slightly distressed gray jeans, and semi-casual black with white striped shoes.

TIPS:  Try tops that embrace your natural curves (Girls), create curves with belts or clothes that have a defined waist line (Girls), dark-washed jeans, black of corse, vertical stripes, simple accessories. Stay away from jean shorts, baggy clothing, super bright distracting clothing, horizontal stripes, clothing that doesn't fit, something that your not comfortable in!

Good luck at your shoot!
