Foundation Application Tools- BIG DIFFERENCE!

Want to know what your skin looks like when you put your foundation on?

In this tutorial I will demonstrate what tools do with your foundation. I use a regular lemon which has similar pore like our skin, and really show us how big of a difference the tools we use effects the results of our makeup! I'm a 100% user of foundation blending brushes like the last example in my tutorial. You can find these brushes at any Sephora, Ulta, Makeup Store...
Check out this tutorial for a awesome demonstration!

  4. quick tip: dampen sponge when using it for foundation. it gives an effect almost as good as the blending brush technique.

  5. While I agree with the final result of this tutorial (blending brushes are awesome), I do not think the difference is as extreme as shown in this video. Lemons have a very thick film surrounding the fruit that makes its exterior very slick. It does not absorb liquid the way that skin does.

    1. Thank you for your input! I completely agree with you that skin has it's differences from a lemons skin. This is a visual demonstration that has the closest resemblance that can show the product application.

  9. It appeared more time was spent applying the makeup using the brush than with the fingertips and sponge. Also, did you reload the brush with makeup during the demo? It looked like it.

    1. I used the same amount of product for every tool. And I stippled with the makeup brush which is a longer process. I love using my Beauty Blender for putting on makeup because it gives me lighter coverage, but when I want everything to be super even and fully done I go to my makeup brush for the most coverage with the best application.
