It's true...

Our Spring Fashion Show!!!

The Salon I work at hosted a fashion show this past Saturday displaying spring clothing by amazing designers! We featured two local boutiques and a modeling agency, and of corse did we did the hair and makeup. Check out the pictures and see what local and affordable styles are in this spring/summer!

Day 3- No Hot Tools Series

For day three I did my Beach Waves with a Snake Braid accent! I love finding new ways to braid because it adds fun details to already beautiful styles. The steps to this couldn't be simpler, and all you need is a rubber-band or bobby pins!

Medium Length hair ideas...

Trying to grow your hair out but would like to have a little more fun then simply putting a flat iron through it or pulling it up into a pony tail? I was recently ask how to do this by my friend Katie. Well here are some pictures I've collected on how to do just that. Look them over and you'll realize your hair has versatility, you just need some inspiration!

-bobby pins
-hair spray
-soft brush

Day 1- No Hot Tools Series

Like I posted previously, this series is how to style your hair without hot tools for a week. Day 1 is a simple twisted bun with elevated volume that is perfect for a casual occasion or you can match it with dressy attire for a night out. All you will need is:
-a soft brush
-bobby pins
-hair spray

Spring 2012 Style

Upon looking for our inspiration for a Fashion Show we are hosting at our Salon next Saturday, I found this editorial by Harpers BAZZAR giving us insiders tips on what this season is all about.

"Makeup artists played with a mix of old and new for spring. Backstage inspiration boards featured rouge lip colors that seemed pulled from a vanity table drawer from long ago, futuristic glittery eye accents, timeless natural tones and indelible smoky shadows and liners done in fresh ways. The overall message: pair vintage with modern to make a statement that’s unique and all your own this season."
